The foundation may award an annual prize for a high-quality scientific work in the field of ophthalmology or a closely related field. Works by Swiss authors who have carried them out in Switzerland or abroad are eligible for consideration, as are scientific works produced in Switzerland, regardless of the candidate's nationality. Group work carried out by researchers in Switzerland in the same fields may also be considered.
The same work cannot be submitted a second time. Continuation work with significant new results will be accepted.
Applications must be submitted in English by 16 February 2025 at the latest using the online form. If it is a group project, please list the individual employees and their respective contribution in the form.
Applications will be evaluated by the Alfred Vogt-Foundation’s Board of Trustees. There is no legal recourse against the decision of the Board of Trustees.
